school's out....

for the SUMMER......  yes, Daddy! and let me tell you, it couldn't have come any sooner.  hectic last day.... had my 1st period students put up 2250 folding chairs for the 8th grade promotion ceremony [they just loved that], had to run around getting signatures for final check out, met w. a couple of parents to go over *concerns*, made airline reservations for the boyz [painful, as the price of airfare is through the roof], and then sat around in the hot sun during the actual ceremony; what fun!  but, it's over now, and i am *officially* on vacation!

will have to go back next week to set up 11 new imacs in the room & update the school website, but since i'm a techie, i don't really look at it as *work*.

blew off the staff party, cuz like do i really want to sit around and chit-chat with people that i've seen all year?  nope.  so instead, i picked up Uber from the sitter, am relaxing a wee bit, and get to get dolled up for the HS graduation ceremony.  i'm actually really looking forward to it... should be a good time for all, especially for one very special young woman!
